On a roast, thinnest slice was about 3/8". Anything less, would not slice all the way through. Slide kept catching on back plate. Awkward to use. They suggest frozen or partially frozen meats for slicing. Didn't try. Also tried a relatively hard cheese, but about 1/2" slices was the best I could do. Because of the slide problem didn't always slice all the way through.Only good point was ability to fold it for storage. |
