Ordered in mid Nov and they sent me an email a few days later saying it was backordered till Dec 16th. Fine, we were going to wait. The 16th came and went without a word so I called a few days later and was told (after I called them!) that it had been pushed back again till Jan 18th. Well, not very good for a Christmas present and not happy that they were not going to notify us, so we cancelled. Customer Service was very nice and helpful and we did get our refund within the time frame. However I am not sure why it doesn't come with a bed frame. The description does say the bed frame is not included but i didnt notice it. My daugter and I had were really excited to put it together and when i told her that a piece (bed frame) was missing she was very disapointed. I have since bought a bed frame. now after 2 weeks of use the top rails that go to the crown, the crown screws have all stripped.
